At Home with Nature

The rich earthiness of this colourful season makes my heart sing and my spirit dance. Mother Earth invites us all to witness the most spectacular ART EXHIBITION of the year – a feast for the senses. Step outside and breathe in all the beauty of her amazing organic art display.

The power of nature and how it can transform our moods.

When we spend time in nature it can calm and soothe us, nourishing our soul. Nature’s abundant beauty cultivates gratitude and appreciation. And for me, it makes me want to dance, paint, sing and celebrate our creativity and oneness.

Autumn is a most magical time of year, inviting us to hunt and gather natural items that we can bring into our homes.

The Saskatoon Bush danced evocatively in the gentle Autumnal breeze…its rich, earthy colours melted my heart, an invitation to join in the dance – a poetic, organic embrace, that filled me with deep gratitude.

I reached out my hands and gently stroked the branches asking if I may share its earthy goodness with others. Giving thanks as I cut a few of the sacred branches, I marveled at this incredible life source – I wondered how many hummingbirds had visited this bush during the blossoms in spring. If the bear had feasted on the berries and what the children¬†could make with the branches after their colour had faded…can you guess what we¬†might make?

As I walked back to the house, I couldn’t help but smile thinking of all the riches that this single bush had offered throughout the year.

Pure, Earthy Art in a vase.

A vase full of Saskatoon leaves will brighten up any room and gift immense joy with its spectacular display of earthy colours, lifting our spirits even on the gloomiest of days.

These rich colours evoke a need to paint and capture the earthiness that we are and so I leave you with a colourful reminder of our deep rooted connection we have with nature as I playfully dance with my watercolours.

Wishing you all a beautiful and creative week in nature, love and peace Marghanita x
