Barefoot

On my early morning walk I was greeted by beautiful golden smiles. Oh how I love Spring in the Okanagan, BC. To walk barefoot among the wild native flowers nourishes my soul.

“When you walk with naked feet, how can you ever forget the earth?”

When we walk barefoot we automatically go slower. We become more observant of our surroundings. We begin to feel more connected, more grounded.

Full of gratitude for this gift of a brand new day, to be free to walk peacefully on this sacred land.

I invite you to kiss the Earth with your naked feet and receive in abundance – the joy and wonder, love and peacefulness it brings.

Even in the city we can find little green spaces to walk barefoot – one of my favourite places to walk barefoot in the city is in Edinburgh is the Botanic Gardens or Princess Street Gardens which is right in the centre of the city.
