In My World…

In my world anything and everything is possible! My imagination leads me on the most amazing journeys…

Working on my Urban Nature Art program modules has gifted me opportunities to play with so many wonderful mediums – in this particular module we are celebrating our Feathered Friends. Today I am playing with wire. During the creative process of making this particular wire bird sculpture I am feeling his little character emerge.

My spirit dances as I create, I love this organic flow of creativity – how one idea flows into the other, unfolding in its purist form before me. I find myself in my world surrounded by little bird characters wanting to play, to sing, to dance and share messages of love, of wonder, of hope!

Imagine…

Once a single piece of wire, this little wire sculpture has become a messenger of hope – I have named him “Pino” and although he is not any particular kind of bird, my grown up kids and husband saw him as a penguin and after filming Pino down at the lake… I knew his message would be to help raise awareness of the importance of protecting our sacred oceans, rivers and lakes.

Bruadarach is Scottish for Dreamer

Little Pino dreams of a day when our Oceans are not full of plastic and fish return in abundance…one day…

To quote Tenzin Wangya Rinpoche:

“Creativity is the sacred fire that ignites positive change for ourselves, for others, and for the world. Our very nature is creative and human kind has evolved because of this.”
