Storytelling with Nature

Had oodles of fun today in the snow recording a new video session for Storytelling with Nature.

Can you guess what storybook we were sharing today – it features a Crow as the main character and all his forest friends and involves snow and fire?

The beautiful story of the Rainbow Crow is a Lenape legend, symbolizing the value of selflessness and service.

The students (both young and old) love making the characters out of clay and paper-mache. Then creating their very own stories.

Children of all ages love stories…and love to be engaged in being part of a story too. Above is one of my special needs students dancing with her beautiful paper-mache Rainbow Crow. During these storytelling sessions we explore many dfferent stories through art, music, dance and drama….the learning opportunities are infinite when you play with nature!

If you would like to learn more about the New Storytelling with Nature Series drop me an email or leave a message…we would love you to share in the storytelling with nature series, wishing you all a magical week in nature, love and peace Marghanita x
