Course Outline
This unique nature-based ART program is designed for educators, parents and anyone working with children, wishing to foster love and compassion, creativity and imagination. We learn best holistically. In this program I will share with you how you too can become an effective nature-based art teacher enabling you to nurture the whole child, body, mind, heart and spirit.
In this program we will explore how we can reawaken our deep-rooted connection to the natural world and our unique language with which the arts ignite.This is an incredibly fun and joy-filled experience, exploring possibilities and learning along-side our students. Playful nature art helps develop a child’s unique perspective and individual style of creative expression.
Our Educators Program consists of twelve inspiring chapters that include how to videos and PDFs to journey alongside your students, nurturing the whole child through playful nature based art processes and meaningful soulful art activities.

The wonder of planting a seeds and making a garden space. Children gain the confidence to tackle big projects and work collaboratively as each child contributes to the whole.

Finding inspiration in nature. Using natural objects found in nature to create art. Introducing famous artists and their work inspired by nature.

Reading outdoors in the fresh air surrounded by nature offers a great multi-sensory, reading environment. Creating our own stories and understanding concepts through nature stories. storytelling with stick people

Nature Cultivates Gratitude
A celebration of life helps establish an attitude of gratitude. Connecting to Mother Nature’s heart and nurturing respect and a positive and peaceful outlook.

Trees and Stick Play
Spending time with trees and exploring who make homes in trees, and discovering all they provide. We investigate Canadian Artist Emily Carr’s dancing tress. We create colorful dragonfly puppets, snakes and discover a world of creative play with sticks of all shapes, types and sizes.

Music, Dance and Yoga
Exploration of sound and movement in nature, through making sound and finding sound in nature. Connecting to yoga poses and exploring music and movement.
